6th AICPEO CONGRESS

Body Remodelling: From Functional Corrections to Aesthetic Surgery Solutions. This will be the central theme of the 6th AICPEO Congress, which will take place on November 24th and 25th in Siena.

The Four Points Sheraton in Siena will host the National AICPEO Congress. The Italian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery for Obesity, under the patronage of SICPRE and the University of Siena.

This Congress, aimed at a maximum of 100 participants, is intended for the professions of Medical Surgeon, nurse, and physiotherapist. Various reference disciplines include General Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Endocrinology, Gynecology and Obstetrics. But not only that, it also encompasses Physical and Rehabilitative Medicine, Radiodiagnostics, Science of Nutrition, and Dietetics.

Two days filled with discussions and in-depth exploration of the specific technical-professional content of each profession, specialisation, and ultra-specialised activity, including rare diseases and gender medicine.

The program of the AICPEO Congress

On November 24th, it opens with an introduction to the training objectives of the course, followed by an introductory lecture on the evolution of body contouring. Throughout the day, three roundtable discussions will take place: gigantomastia in post-bariatric patients, mastopexy in post-bariatric patients, and innovations in abdominal remodelling surgery. The first day of the congress concludes with a meet-the-expert session during which systematisation and combined post-bariatric surgeries will be discussed. Saturday, November 25th, will be dedicated to solutions in Aesthetic Surgery for post-bariatric patients.
