GTVER Congress in Bologna on May 24-25

GTVER 2024, the “TriVeneto Emiliano Romagnolo” Group of Plastic Surgery, presided by Eugenio Fraccalanza, is back with its annual congress in Bologna on May 24 and 25. This year’s edition is entitled “And you, what would you do- What I did, what I could have done”. It will be presided by Silvia Ricci, medical director of the Plastic surgery department, AUSL Bologna. 

The area around the head and neck, the lower limbs and breasts are three of the main themes that will be addressed during the two-day congress. Each session will be dedicated to reconstructive techniques and traditional aesthetics. The speakers will present case studies, in order to favour a discussion between professionals and new generations of surgeons. The goal being to exchange experiences and compare modus operandi. 

Keeping up thanks to the GTVER Congress

Supported by SICPRE and, realised in part thanks to Revée’s sponsorship, the congress in Bologna will award 9 ECM credits to attendees. This GTVER Group meeting is aimed at general surgeons, Maxillofacial, Plastic and Reconstructive, but also Orthopedics, Traumatology and Otorhinolaryngology. Moreover, 5 members of the SICPRE Giovani PSG project (people younger than 35 who are specialising or are specialised) and specialised doctors under 40 who have regularly paid their fees will be able to sign up for free. This is an opportunity for young professionals to access the event which is focused on pushing forward education and networking. 

Through this event people are kept up-to-date on innovative techniques within a collaborative environment. The congress will is a place where each participant will be able to contribute to growing the scientific community.
