Breast anomalies: the masterclass in Florence on tuberous breasts, asymmetries, and dystopias

Modern plastic surgery increasingly demands highly specialized skills, especially in managing breast anomalies. To meet this growing need for professional development, the 3rd Monothematic Masterclass “Tuberous Breasts, Breast Asymmetries, and Mammary Dystopias” has been launched. The event will be held on May 24, 2025, in Florence, at the NH Hotel in Piazza Vittorio Veneto.
This ECM (Continuing Medical Education) refresher course offers an opportunity for technical deepening, targeting plastic surgeons, aesthetic doctors, and healthcare professionals, with the goal of providing practical tools for addressing cases of breast dysmorphisms and malformations—conditions that can significantly affect surgical and aesthetic outcomes.
In recent years, attention to breast malformations has grown considerably, thanks to an increased aesthetic awareness and rising demand for corrective surgeries. Conditions like tuberous breasts, asymmetries, and glandular dystopias are often underestimated or insufficiently diagnosed, risking the compromise of surgical outcomes, whether cosmetic or reconstructive. For this reason, the Masterclass aims to deliver targeted training, updated with the most effective techniques to achieve harmonious and lasting results.
Updates on Breast Anomalies: Masterclass Sessions
The day’s program is divided into four main thematic sessions. The morning will focus on the description of malformations, exploring the embryology and anatomy of the breast, along with the classification of the different forms of stenotic breasts. A specific session on breast asymmetries will follow, analyzing the most effective surgical strategies—from the proper use of implants to lipofilling—comparing implants and fat grafting for various types of asymmetries.
The afternoon will be dedicated to the treatment of tuberous breasts and particular aspects of breast anatomy, with a focus on topics such as tuberous breasts in men, the management of areolar dystopias, and the application of innovative techniques like “Sting.” The program also includes two interactive roundtables, offering participants the opportunity to discuss real clinical cases and exchange practical experiences.
Speakers at the event will include nationally and internationally renowned experts who will share their knowledge through presentations, surgical procedure videos, and guided discussions. This practical approach will allow participants to acquire operational tools that can be immediately applied to their professional practice.
Not Just Correcting, but Designing Surgeries
The Masterclass aims to train surgeons who are not only capable of correcting malformations but also of designing customized interventions for each patient, respecting individual anatomy and aesthetic needs. A well-planned surgery not only addresses visible defects but also seeks to recreate a natural balance among shape, volume, and symmetry, thereby enhancing the patient’s self-esteem and psychological well-being.
Participation in the Masterclass requires pre-registration by May 21 and grants ECM educational credits. To consult the full program and registration details, visit the website: www.cludersrl.it.
