Breast anomalies: the masterclass in Florence on tuberous breasts, asymmetries, and dystopias

Modern plastic surgery increasingly demands highly specialized skills, especially in managing breast anomalies. To meet this growing need for professional development, the 3rd Monothematic Masterclass “Tuberous Breasts, Breast Asymmetries, and Mammary Dystopias” has been launched. The day’s program is divided into four main thematic sessions. The morning will focus on the description of malformations, exploring the embryology and anatomy of the breast, along with the classification of the different forms of stenotic breasts. A specific session on breast asymmetries will follow, analyzing the most effective surgical strategies—from the proper use of implants to lipofilling—comparing implants and fat grafting for various types of asymmetries.

The afternoon will be dedicated to the treatment of tuberous breasts and particular aspects of breast anatomy, with a focus on topics such as tuberous breasts in men, the management of areolar dystopias, and the application of innovative techniques like “Sting.” The program also includes two interactive roundtables, offering participants the opportunity to discuss real clinical cases and exchange practical experiences.
