V National Congress SIUEC
The V National Congress of the Italian Unitary Society of Endocrine Surgery (SIUEC) represents a significant event that will take place at the T Hotel in Cagliari from November 9th to 11th, 2023.
It is an event dedicated to the in-depth exploration and sharing of new concepts and developments in endocrine surgery. Highlighting the etiopathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment modalities and medicolegal implications of the pathologies related to endocrine-metabolic and breast systems.
SIUEC is a non-profit society born to unify the experiences of the Italian Society of Endocrine Surgery (SIC), founded in Naples in 1980, and the CLUB of Endocrine Surgery Units (UEC), founded in Ivrea in 1998. The aim is to promote the progress of experimental, clinical and social Endocrine Surgery, contributing significantly to the development of this important medical discipline.
Discussing and staying updated at the SIUEC Congress
The SIUEC Congress allows for a fruitful exchange of ideas, experiences, and research among professionals in the field.
During the multidisciplinary sessions, it will be possible to engage and interact with nationally and internationally renowned speakers who will share their knowledge and experiences.
The Congress, an important event in the fields of endocrinology, endocrine surgery, obesity, breast surgery, is chaired by Piergiorgio Calò and Massimo Dessena, with honorary president Angelo Nicolosi, while the scientific coordinators are Fabio Medas and Gian Luigi Canu. Revée is among the sponsors which supports this initiative for informational and educational purposes related to endocrine surgery.
This series of meetings is open to a wide range of health professionals. From general surgeons, endocrinologists, oncologists, radiologists to anaesthetists, pathologists, nuclear medicine physicians, radiotherapists, general practitioners, nutrition experts, and nurses. It is an opportunity to discuss and stay updated on current diagnostic and therapeutic issues related to thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, breast and pathological obesity.
